The El Capitan project has been a catalyst for the reversal of downtown Hollywood's economic decline. JAG developed a restoration strategy that earned a $2,000,000 historic preservation tax credit for the owner.

Architectural work included replication of the original historic storefronts, removed in the 1970's; restoration and repair of the original stone facade, and reconstruction of the fifty foot high landmark sign tower.
