Miles Memorial Playhouse .

Designed by John Byers, an architect noted for his use of the Spanish Colonial Revival Style, this building was built in 1929 to provide a public recreation hall for the youth of the community.

 

JAG Architects designed extensive interior and exterior renovations.The most significant element of the full seismic upgrade was the reconstruction of the masonry chimney.

 

New restrooms, HVAC, and a state of the art theatrical lighting system were installed. A new multi-purpose classroom has renewed the focus on the youth of the community.
